For the second time this year the House of Representatives has voted to repeal the 1993 Clinton introduced military policy of Don't Ask, Don't Tell by a huge margin, 250 - 175. *Italics mean NOT re-elected... meaning they just hate the homos

One hour of debate was your same old same old blah, blah, blah, with only old white guys leading the charge on the right. Neil and I were glued,  I was poised, Tequila in hand, waiting for either ICKY or SHOWERS... not one drink . On to the Senate where we got some VERY good news today:

Let it Snowe, Let it Snowe, Let it Snowe!
News broke, everywhere,  as soon as the vote in House was official, Senator Olympia Snowe will join her fellow Mainer, Susan Collins and vote FOR repeal. SO, if my math is right, and that is WAY debatable, the bill is ONE vote short ?? Manchin (D-West Virginia) has said he will vote no, taking us to 58, The Presidents old seat is now GOP, lame duck included... taking us to 57 - right?
Now I have read that Manchin said he would vote YES if he was the 60th vote ??
Also, Brown ( R-Mass ) and Murchouski ( ever how the crap you spell it ) is STILL a Republican in the lame duck ( an I in the next Congress ) also said she would vote yes......updates to follow....

FINGERS CROSSED!!
