This is a most enjoyable show, it really is. Fine acting, good stories and PBS is just itching to make it the next Downton. The thing is that its a horribly sad story - its 1935 this season, meaning they have 12 years and a world war to go through before Indian independence, and the the horror of the separation . All that said there are pretty dresses and damn hot Indian men, so... just look past what all is to come.
I made a lovely chicken and eggplant curry for the event -
along with a Guinness to show my grossly romantic longing for the raj.
