Dinner at Laurier

Such a nice little gem of a place, right here in scenic Mendon! Kyle, Neil, David, Dahn and Scott gathered here for cocktail before going over to dinner.
Last nights menu :
  • Maine Lobster Bisque, with fresh cream, Pernod and brandy
  • Warm Savory Tart, with goat cheese, mushrooms and roasted tomato
  • Field green salad with dried cranberries , pine nuts and blue cheese
  • Tournedos of Beef Tenderloin - or - Roasted rack of New Zealand Lamb - or - Pan Seared Ahi Tuna. All came with mashed potato and veggies. I had the lamb, Neil had the beef, everyone else had the Tuna, it was all very good.
  • Grand Marnier Creme Brulee

Now this is the place that is only open on Saturday Nights, they do not have a pouring license, so wine is included with your dinner, all you care to drink. For the most part, we all cared..... a lot. It was really good wine.
