Peter Watt and Gerard Cattie Jr.
Peter Norden Watt and Gerard Francis Cattie Jr. were married Saturday. The Rev. Carl L. Christensen, a minister of the United Church of Christ, officiated at the couple’s weekend house in Lyme, Conn.
Mr. Watt (left), 44, is the vice president for consumer marketing at InterMedia Outdoors, a company in New York that publishes hunting, fishing and shooting magazines like Guns & Ammo, and has Web sites and cable television shows devoted to those subjects. He graduated from Middlebury College.
He is a son of Joan and David Watt of Larchmont, N.Y. His father, who is retired, was the president of Affiliated Business Forms, which was in New York.
Mr. Cattie, 43, works in New York as a partner in and managing director of Diversified Search Ray & Berndtson, an executive search firm. Until 2002 he was a member of the board of governors of the Human Rights Campaign in Washington. He graduated from the University of Pennsylvania, from which he also received a master’s degree in government administration.
He is the son of Mary Elizabeth Murray of Blue Bell, Pa., and of Mr. Cattie Sr. of Philadelphia, and is the stepson of Kevin N. Murray. His father, who is retired, was the president of the Cattie Brothers Steel and Industrial Storage Company in Philadelphia.
