BAGHDAD — President Bush made a valedictory visit on Sunday to Iraq, the country that will largely define his legacy, but the trip will more likely be remembered for the unscripted moment when an Iraqi journalist hurled his shoes at Mr. Bush’s head and denounced him on live television as a “dog” who had delivered death and sorrow here from nearly six years of war.
NOT that I am not all for smacking Zippy upside the head with a shoe, or rolled up newspaper or a bean burrito. BUT, Shouldn't we be a little bit upset with the Secret Service that this was allowed to happen? There are going to be many many times more nutjobs out there thinking bad things about President Obama. I am SURE this was just a glitch. those guys are uber professionals. I do hope we get a shot of Dana Perino's black eye.
