Carla mania is sweeping the nation!
Our girl was on fire tonight, winning round one of the TOP CHEF Final down in New Orleans!
She did a savory beignet ( shrimp and something....) and what looked like a fantastic oyster stew, which according to papa bear Tom Colicchio was: "made with a base of potato, cream, bacon, and oyster that she then strained, and which she garnished with an individually poached oyster, was truly well done, especially given that she poached the oysters to order."
And, she did it , with out all the fuss muss and drama that the bald boys and Fabio were allowing! She is just such a happy person. Now, I do hate when I am really rooting for someone on some tv show. Cause I'll be all the upset if she does not win NEXT week as well and become the TOP CHEF.
