The NYT is reporting that Punxsutawney Phil, properly dressed in STEELERS colors, did in fact, see his shadow this morning, heralding six more weeks of winter. Now this far north ONLY six more weeks would be a God-send to us.
Cutie-patooie Brett down in Baton Rouge ( dressed, I'm sure, in his LSU boxers) is telling us that Pierre C. Shadeaux - A NUTRIA! - did not see his shadow, so Spring is right around the corner.
NOW, Mendon Pookie, DID see her shadow, so keep the Winter gear handy for a while.
