I ♥ Chesley B. "Sully" Sullenberger !
Did you hear his voice on 60 Minutes last night ? I could listen to him all night long. Mayor Bloomberg just gave the Crew of Flight 1549 the key to New York City. ( and a lovely dinner and tickets to Chicago ( everything revolves around Broadway....but, come on Mayor, you couldn't spring for Billy Elliot??)
Now, it turns out that Capt. Sully had a library book with him on the plane ( he even uses the Library !) that , you know , is now at the bottom of the Hudson River . SO, with every cable channel on the planet watching the Mayor gives Sully his own copy of the book and gives the title and all : Just Culture: Balancing Safety and Accountability , by Sidney Decker . Nothing like a little free press!
You know that Capt. Sully is damn happy that he was not reading some trashy thick paper back romance novel!
