health care ? We don't need no stinkin' health care....

" We do not need anyone coming between you and your doctor!"

" We don't need the damn Government to ration our health care"

My favorite anecdote that I have heard so far, was from Chris Matthews , I think, of an elderly Conservative woman, saying that with " this new health care coverage, the government better not touch her medicare....."

NO! leave health care alone, and in the hands of the HUGE for Profit monster that is BIG health insurance! Keep those campaign checks coming boys! There is someone between you and your doctor now, and its not an elected official, its some non caring so and so in cubical #943 with a big old rubber "NO" stamp!

I have a pal up here, who does not want to be made famous on the k+b, so we will call him " NOT WILL ". Now, NotWill has a history of heart conditions within his family and has had some issues in the past himself. So, one day last week at work , NotWill felt some tightness in his chest and after a while , with things not getting better , he went to the ER. Test , test , test and a somewhat panicked boyfriend, NotJohn later.. a doctor told him that he needed MORE tests and should be admitted to the hospital then and there.

But NotWill decided to wait , and go through his own doctor to do these cardiac tests... ( there by paying the big ER CoPay...) so OF COURSE the BIG for Profit Monster Insurance Company declined his request for these tests. No Government doing anything at all, just the good ole green back. I am sure that the person in cubical #943 gets some sort of gold star for all the NotWills that they can keep from getting tests.....

NotWill's doctor is appealing the case, but It just chaps my hide to hear the folks say that they don't want the "fools in Washington" coming between them and their sainted Doctor...

(Don't get me started on taxing health care benefits.. no, I wouldn't want anyone else in the same boat that I am....)
