200 years, 10 styles and 3 MO' DIVAS

Cabaret comes to the Flower City ! And had folks dancing in the aisles and begging for more! Never have I seen a happier group of people leaving a theater... still dancing and singing. Dahn and David took us to see 3 MO DIVAS at Geva last night, after a lovely round of food at the Dinosaur BBQ. I was just having an off camera day so pics are scarce.

I had no idea what the show was , and it was a LOVELY surprise. It is pure cabaret, no book or story, but really, three VERY talented singers that do everything from Puccini to Whitney Houston. From their website: " The concert delivers some stupefying, genre jumping feats that continue to amaze audiences: Including OPERA, BROADWAY, MOVIES, JAZZ, BLUES, SOUL, R&B, ROCK & ROLL, SPIRITUALS & GOSPEL. Like mysterious sweet surprises, you never know which divine Diva or which style of music might come next."
All three ladies are classically trained, one a Julliard Grad, who leave nothing in the dressing room at all, full out, full force, full Diva mode , including an alter call worthy rendition of His Eyes on the Sparrow...

If these ladies show up in your town, do yourself a favor and go see them!
