David and Goliath

David got a great big new tv set and a starship Enterprise sound system for his whole house. All you have to do is yell at the tv and it does what you want.... amazing.
And he got it JUST IN TIME FOR AWARD SEASON!

Tonight was the Golden Globes!, so let's just get down to it! Why wait till tomorrow for Joan? k+b Fashion Police!

Right off the bat, my winner of the night Jennifer Garner ( Mrs. Ben Affleck) in Atelier Versace. The winner by far, now remember , we were watching on the imax tv, and it did not do well on the red carpet, but up close as she was presenting, it was out of this world. Sleek, sexy, fit perfectly... Movie Star!
My runner up Chloe Sevigny , RIGHT on trend in this ruffled Valentino gown. Miss Sevigny has in the past zipped right past trendville and ended up in cutting edge town. This is sweet, fashion forward and made her look very pretty. She also won in her category, so a win/win for her!
This was just at topic of interest dress. Kate Hudson, Miss A-Rod if you're nasty, looked amazing in this strapless silk crepe Marchesa gown. As a rule I am not a big fan of blond blonds in white , but she pulled it off. My question is the dress itself. STIFF bodice, Dahn insisted it was made of fondant... I just thought it was quirky and arty and very fashion forward... not a winner, but not a loser either, sort of our GOOD TRY for the hippy chick award. AND she is rocking those heels...
Sadly, sadly, cause she seems like such a lovely person, Sandra Bullock is our loser of the night, who was the WINNER in the best actress category. She was dressed in a Bottega Venetta gown, that just missed all over, and AND, as much as I like and respect Ms Bullock ( she just today gave ONE MILLION dollars to Haiti relief..) her styling ( "hairstyle?? ") and the odd , sheen and transparency of the dress put her at the top of the worst.
I mean even her SMOKING HOT husband as an accessory could not pull it out. Step it up for the big show Sandra... Call me , if you need too...

For perspective on the HDTV, folks need to know that David Gandell is 6'5".
