The Rare Sunny Winter Day in Mendon....

A little bit of crazy here in Upstate New York... Bright Blue and Sunny, with this thing called FIFTY degrees tomorrow. Everyone is sort of walking around in a little bit of happy shock, not to worry, they are saying the usual zero by the end of the week.

Action shot of Koda, crossing the bridge in the back yard.
Seriously, we never , ever get this in January...
We went for our first good long walk since before Christmas, three miles on a close to empty trail, so Koda was off and running, not a single squirrel was safe!
The trail is still all icy, because it is in the shade most of the time, and its a little packed down
Soaking it all in...
THEN a nice leisurely trip to Wegmans, where it was Japanese day or something... this is all Japanese fish...
AND banana leaves !
Came home and made Neil a lovely snack... who doesn't enjoy a nice warm cocktail weenie ?
