At the risk of losing all my SEC street cred, I just this second found out about this story. A little bit more has been happening in the world, but that is really no excuse for me not knowing. Bolting after one season.... Hard to feel sorry for anyone that plays Rocky Top that many times in one ballgame, but we fan feel a little for our brothers to the North.
What a jerk! All around jerk-ness really, Pete Carroll is just as jerky by taking off after one bad season after presenting himself as Mr. USC and all that 60 Minute reaching out bs. Just as I said with Colt McCoy, " you can not hide good breeding" - you can certainly NOT hide the lack of character either. The Rocky Top student body gets their protest on. In my day there would have been much more beer....
From the making orange aid from oranges: A very nice lady that owns a TENNESSEE stuff shop there in Knoxville is asking folks to not burn or feed to the hogs their Lane Kiffin t shirts and such, but to bring them to her for a discount on a new non Kiffin shirt, and she will bundle all the old ones up for the people in Haiti.... We SEC folks are good people, even the Orange ones.
Too bad about ole Lane being a traitor.. he is nice to look at.
