We ain't proud, made a bee line for Denny's for that free breakfast!
Spent some time with a smokin' hot podiatrist. I was giving some thought to a psychosomatic bunion or a faux hammer toe. Neil had a slight problem that was quickly taken care of.
Birthday Dinner
We are having a serious first Winter storm, so our trip out to dinner was put on hold till things clear up. So, I just made Neil a nice birthday dinner, getting my inner Voltaggio Brother on.
Big hunk of Sashimi grade yellow fin tuna from the Wegmans. I just lightly coated it in a sesame/ginger/garlic olive oil for maybe an hour before searing for like a minute on each side.
The first course was a few of the classic birthday starter, bacon wrapped fresh scallops. A little fresh salad with a ginger- lime glaze.
The tuna. Very fresh, very good. Hit it with a little salt and lime at the end. Jasmine rice and sugar snap peas.
