This was some serious love.
Short Ribs with new potatoes and carrots , creamy Parmesan polenta with gravy, lemon roasted asparagus.
Short ribs. Dusted in some well seasoned flour, and browned in vegetable oil with a little bacon fat.
Drain a good amount of the fat, add some onions .. cook a bit, then de-glaze with red wine, cook a bit longer.
Six or seven whole cloves of garlic and some carrots with more onions in the slow cooker with a box of beef stock. Let it go for a few hours.
A few hours in, add the potatoes and other carrots. Let go for a while, this went about seven hours all in all, SERIOUSLY good .
