Michelle and her Sisters.
The First Lady of the land was on hand to present her inaugural ball dress to the permanent collection at the Smithsonian. Accompanied by the dress designer, Jason Wu, and her mother , the always fabulous Mrs. Marian Robinson, the First Lady look fantastic and Springy in Prabal Gurung , Spring 2010.

On a more serious note, do any of you think that Mrs. Robinson could have , in her wildest dreams, as a child thought of this even happening? Or for that matter out and proud Jason Wu standing along side the First Lady of the United States of America having his work on display for ever? Sometimes are are so intent on the work, all heads down and woe is me, that we just forget how far and how fast we have come... pat on the back to the general "WE".
As for the dress..... well, it is what it is, and a very much a precursor of things to come with the Divine Mrs O. With an all black or all white dress photographs can not do all they should , so big ole benefit of the doubt to Jason and Michelle, and a trip to DC soon to find out for myself.
