The State Fair

O.K. , Let's just get the ugly out of the way first. I now have to live the rest of my life, with the intense pain of NOT SEEING THE TINY MONKEY JOCKEYS! The New York State Fair is HUGE. What could be miles and miles of Fair Stuff, and lots of fences. We were at the Pig Races ( the HOLLYWOOD Pig Races ), Which were sort of right next door, but we just could not get to the next venue in time.....
Other than that, it was a very fun afternoon! You can not walk more than 10 steps and not find something fried to eat. Pretty much everything under the sun at this place. Rides, shows, blue ribbon vegetables, birds of prey and sort of sickly looking sharks in a big tank. We went looking for the chain saw show which was being held in the Children's area of the park, I thought that was a win win combination, kids with chainsaws, but we missed that one too. We found it, we were just too late.
At the heart of the fair is an old time "state fair". New York is a VERY agricultural state, lots and lots of farms and there for little well scrubbed kids out with their sheep or llamas or prize winning green onions.
