Koda and I got in a nice long walk today, while the weather was still nice , sunny and warm for Upstate, New York. First walk in shorts! ( I'll spare yall the picture of my very white porcelain English legs )
The Flora and Fauna of Mendon!
These are MAY APPLES... and they were not here on Sunday when we took out last good walk. They really do pop up over night, like mushrooms, and they are everywhere.
This is Koda watching a HUGE GREAT BLUE HERON fly away. He spooked it out from under the bridge, too quickly to get a picture. It had like a 4 foot wing span...
SKUNK CABBAGE! Man, it really is everywhere... and does sort of stink, right at sunset.. 
This is a RED FOX, that walked along the trail in front of us for a while. We see one close to every time we take a walk. I guess it is the same one?
